An electric shock and suddenly your eyes open. Around you on the ground are familiar faces. You all look pretty much the same after all. The only difference being that you are moving when they are not. A few steps later someone waves at you. Your recollection is fuzzy, but you recognize them as a friend. At some point you were all marching together, right? The friend passes onto you what would become your most useful tool. A staff. Just a few tries of using it to elevate yourself, to pole vault a good distance, to hook onto a platform and climb it, to swing across the air; it soon becomes a natural extension of yourself.
The world around you looks cold, gray, and deserted. Huge structures towering above you, broken pipes and railings — it’s a ruin of something long gone. You can almost smell gunpowder in the air. However, that’s impossible. Time has passed, and you don’t even have a sense of smell. After all, you’re a robot. A sense of smell wasn’t deemed necessary, so was the usage of language. Despite that you meet others along your way, each helpful without any need for words and explanations. All of you strive for the same serenity and peace.
Thus, you partake on your short adventure throughout various structures and places. One filled with rubble and water, another one with peculiar plants and mushrooms, each following a similar theme yet so different in design.
Your journey is mostly silent, accompanied by wordless communication, solemn music passages, and the sound of your own movement. A sound symbolizing the vividness in this abandoned place. A sound echoing through everything. You are here, you are not alone, and you are not ready to end it like this. Your trustful staff gets you everywhere. No far distances nor complicated mechanisms can stop you.
Ready yourself for a unique atmosphere that screams hostility and sentimentality at the same time. Sharpen your senses, be one with your tool of traversal, and you will surely be rewarded with a magical experience.
